Catalina has a Master’s in Global Health and Development and a background in Biology. As a Spanish teacher, she believes in the power of education. That is why she is currently working with the Observatory of Obstetric Violence PR to educate pregnant people about their rights during childbirth.

Her love for cultures and diverse backgrounds are key to her role as Community Building Officer in the Coalition. She is passionate about gender and health equity and believes that the Coalition is a space for young professionals to create the future health field they want to see.
