
Neelam Iqbal
COMMUNITY OFFICER
Neelam is an Epidemiology and One Health PhD candidate at the University of Liverpool, focusing on the environmental and social drivers of mosquito-borne diseases. She has a Masters in Control of Infectious Diseases from LSHTM and a BSc in Global Health, with vast work experiences in charities, private companies, and public bodies within health.
In CGHI, Neelam is involved in writing, editing, and publishing articles as well as working with the team to push forward other editorial activities. As an early career epidemiologist, she is passionate about environmental health, infectious diseases, social justice, migrant health, and health inequalities.
Neelam is an ambitious Global Health advocate with a mission to contribute to more appropriate public health interventions that ensure good health is accessible for all, in an ever-changing global environment.
