This is CGHI

The Coalition for Global Health Innovation (CGHI) is a coalition of young people, providing a forum and a knowledge channel led by one simple question: How do we create win-win solutions for interconnected global health issues?

The CGHI concept originates from MultiPOD Mentoring program, our mother-organization and the platform that connected us. We are a multidisciplinary team of volunteers, working with the mentors from the MultiPOD Mentoring as advisors, nourishing and amplifying the valuable voices and skills of young professionals. Eventually, we aim to break out into an independent organization.

“Our mission is to create a multinational network of young professionals and enable them to find innovative solutions to current global health challenges by informing public opinion and advocating for better policies.“

We aim to achieve our mission in two ways. Firstly, by creating a Community of young people active within global health and human development In the Community, we connect a diverse group of people within which innovation can spark and grow. Through the Community, young people can both contribute with their skills and knowledge to the sphere of global health, but also develop into the global health professionals the world sorely needs.

Secondly, by creating reliable and relatable content shared on our communication channels based on the combination of personal experiences and evidence-based facts. By discovering and shining a light on connections, common causes and common potential solutions for issues within global health, human development and environmental issues, visible only when observed through a holistic approach, we hope to make the complexities of global health issues approachable and understandable for everyone

We are an organization by young professionals, for young professionals, facilitating personal growth and developing important professional skills, but more importantly coming together as a coalition of change makers, reaching greater goals than we would on our own, creating a systematic change in the world that will further the global health cause and create a brighter today.
